Transforming Ideas allows people to interact with quotations by using their bodies to reveal hidden words in the quote one by one.
Users see themselves reflected in a video projection in front of a
colorful cloud. Repeted exposure to any part of the screen rubs away
sections of the cloud. As the user rubs the cloud away, words are
revealed and set free to float to the top of the projection where
they form a quote. Shown here is documentation from an installation at the Mary Baker Eddy Library in Boston, where all of the quotes were selected from Mary Baker Eddy's writings.
